Who says today’s kids have no work ethicIt seems that 17 year old Jarrad Natale does, and he is not afraid of hard, DIRTY, work. Amen son, just a little more caution next time, OK?
Who wants to bet the ACLU gets involved in this oneIt seems that there are still some good and decent people in the world. You see, a woman was recently being chased by a would be robber who had already pounced on her and punched her repeatedly trying to steal her purse. Well, he chased his would be victim past the wrong shop, because five men from a local auto shop started pursuing him, “placed him” on the ground, and restrained him until police arrived. How much would you like to bet that the aclu(natics) sue the men who SAVED THAT WOMAN from her assailant, because they “violated his rights” or “prevented him from doing what he does for a living” (VIOLENTLY ROBBING WOMEN)?
I can’t even begin to understand this oneGPS tracking chips in handguns? WHO ARE THE IDIOTS WHO THOUGHT OF THIS? Oh, that’s right, elected officials.
Mother mad at policeYou see, when Plymouth PD responded to an alarm at a local liquor store, they found a stone had bounced off the shatter proof glass, and saw evidence that a car left at high speed, and began to pursue the vehicle. Eventually they were able to box the car in, when it RAMMED one of the cruisers and then accelerated toward other officers. Those officers, who FEARED FOR THEIR LIFE (due to the car SPEEDING TOWARD THEM), opened fire, killing 16 year old Anthony McGrath. Mrs. McGrath insists that her son was “given a death penalty with out a trial” and has demanded answers and wants to know who “murdered” her son. Well, “mom”, I hate to say this but I see two VERY GOOD possible answers, your son did it by THREATENING THE LIVES OF POLICE OFFICERS, and/or you are either partly or wholely responsible for the untimely death of your son, due to your failure to teach him that ROBBING A LIQUOR STORE, SPEEDING FROM THE CRIME SCENE, and VEHICULAR ASSAULT ON A PEACE OFFICER are not good things to do. UH-OH, I just made a “moral judgement” didn’t I, because I said what the CHILD did was WRONG! I am sorry for Anthony’s death, and I pray for his entire family, but had he not been trying to rob that store, had he not sped from the crime scene, and had he not sped up and headed toward Police Officers, he would (most likely) still be alive today.
H/T to Wizbang for the above news items
This is quite possible the ONLY time I partially agree with the acluYou see, it is now ILLEGAL to “annoy” somoene via the web without disclosing your true identity. Which means that ALL BLOGGERS and other people who write or comment on the web, MUST disclose their REAL NAMES if they “annoy” someone. This is GOING TOO FAR! I have a pretty high tolerance for nuissances, but not everyone does, so basically the whole country is SCREWED OVER by this law (at least bloggers and those who comment on blogs or in web-forums, or in chat rooms).
H/T to Ogre for the last story
Well, that’s it from me for now, and remember, if you can’t be good, be good at it, and don’t get caught.
